A 70-YEAR EXPERIENCE IN LOGGING
Created in 1946, the Paquignon logging company mainly uses wood coming from certified areas in the Loire Valley.

PAQUIGNON HISTORY, 1946 - 2015
1946 : Creation of the company by Henri Paquignon, logging management.
1968 : Creation of the sawmill. Bernard and Henri Paquignon join their father.
They will take the lead in 1984.
1975 : 1,600 m3 logs/year
Equipment upgrade with a new headrig and the mechanisation of finishing machines.
1985 : 3,600 m3 logs/year
1989 : New buildings for the company. Purchase of a barker and an optimised cut-off machine.
1994 : 6,000 m3 logs/year
1995 : Purchase of a 16,000 m2 storage area for dried beams and logs.
1996-1998: Purchase of a Slabber, and a trolley equipped with independent claws
1999 : Set up of a 1600 diameter frame for better security and faster sawing.
2000 : 9,000 m3 logs/year
2005 : Takeover of the company by Jean-Pierre Bouvier-Müller, current Managing Director.
2015 : 14,000 m3 logs/year
